Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Mornel mobile app and backend service. Mornel is operated by FFA Studios (Fahim Fardin Abdulla) ("we", "our", "us"). By using Mornel you agree to them.
1. The service
Mornel is a personal planning, journaling, and focus app. It uses AI to turn your notes into a structured daily plan, and provides journaling, focus sessions, and related features. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI output may contain mistakes — review it before relying on it.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Mornel to:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Submit content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringes copyright.
- Break, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service (rate limits, scraping, credential stuffing, etc.).
- Create accounts in bulk or impersonate others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. AI content
Plans and other AI output are generated by a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini). We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. You are responsible for what you do with the output. Do not rely on Mornel for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
5. Your content
You own the notes, journal entries, and other content you create. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to operate the service for you — for example, sending it to the AI provider to generate a plan, and storing it so it syncs across your devices.
6. Mornel Pro & payments
- Mornel is free to use. Mornel Pro is an optional paid upgrade, offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
- One-time purchases. Mornel also offers optional one-time, non-consumable purchases — individual focus scenes, companion celebration forms, and bundle packs (such as the Scenery Collection and the Celebration Collection) — that permanently unlock cosmetic content tied to your store account. These are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew.
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store; billing is handled by Apple under your App Store account.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Restore. You can restore previously purchased non-consumable items on a new device via Restore Purchases in Settings.
- Refunds. Because digital content is delivered immediately, all sales are final except where required by the App Store refund policy or applicable consumer law. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Prices may change; we will give notice of material changes.
7. Intellectual property
The Mornel app, its code, design, and brand are owned by FFA Studios (Fahim Fardin Abdulla). You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using Mornel at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mornel and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
